I'm not too impressed with the mityvac- - - -too many places it can suck air other than from the brake lines. It's OK for a quick initial bleed, but that's about all. The best way to go is a pressure bleeder that forces pressurized fluid into the MC, but they're expensive, and they use a lot of fluid. Have you tried a set of "speed bleeders", the bleeder screws with a spring-loaded check ball in them? They're designed to allow you to crack the bleeder open a tiny bit, and pump the pedal slowly to push fluid and air out without pulling air back into the wheel cylinder on the upstroke of the pedal.
