For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2008 Posts: 256 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2008 Posts: 256 | So a 1949 ad SHORT bed frame will fit under my 1949 suburban and are these mentioned body mounts something that needs to be welded on or drill hole and bolt thru the frame? Yes Tony, the frames are virtually the same. Body mounts, rear floor mounts and the gas tank mounts are different. The 1949 frame will have the knee action shocks and mounts and the 1951 and later will have the tube mounted shocks and brackets. They are just bolt on stuff correct? i have the part to swap from knee action to tube shocks already so im set there | | |
