I have a good GMC 261 that I would like to rebuild and put into my 1953 GMC 5 window.
Does anyone have any suggestions on which route to go on the rebuild, ie: more horsepower, bore it out....
Or is there any reason to stay away from the 261.
The 261 has some sentimental value from the farm and it has a lot of torque, sounds nice too. But I would like to have moderate power in my truck.
