That will tell you if your 261 is an exact bolt-in or not. If it has a 216 or 235 the mounts will bolt right up. If it has a 228, or 248 you will need to move the crossmember or you could bolt in a 270 or 302.
I have a stock 261 in my truck right now. It is nice but if you want a good power improvement put a hot cam and a better intake on it. If you want to go really wild you can do the Cadzilla mod at Inliners- you offset grind the crankshaft and fit Cadillac pistons to stroke it.
