For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,878 . | | . Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,878 | Some measurements from my 52 1 ton (no axle right now)
With across front fenders at top center is 72.25" Width inside fender lip at bottom of opening both front and back is 68" Width outside rear edge of opening at the bottom is 70.5"
So I'm guessing outside of sidewall to sidewall could be 68" and look great, and might could be 70" and be OK.
Can someone please lay some straight edges on the outside of your tires and measure the overall width and also comment on how much wider you think it could be and still fit and look OK?
Thanks, Grigg | | |
