I found that mcmaster carr has some aluminum J edge trim that will work for the front and back edges. I'm looking for a bendable edge strip to use on the sides and around the wheel wells. I'm grinding off the tops of the bolts on the old strips and just knocking them thru the floor. I'll replace them with new ones when I put down the new strips. I'm going for the look of a pickup bed look with the new floor cut into strips and laid over the old floor. When the new plywood is finished, I will put the strips of plywood down and alternate the grains so it looks like a hard wood floor. I will be using a product called Merranti which is a hardwood 3ply marine exterior plywood and I'll finish it like the deck of a boat so it shines.
