Hi Johnny. I have a '36 Chevy pickup that I bought in pretty rough shape in 1965 and restored in the early 70's.
If you are going to be keeping that '36, I've discovered some parts interchanges during the last 45 years that aren't in any book that may be helpful to you. Examples are modern tie rod ends that are a perfect fit, more modern ignition points and fuel filter that are also a perfect fit and visually undetectable 3.55 gears using all inexpensive Chevy OEM parts and a little cutting and welding on a '37 Chevy car rear end.
