You'll end up with a lot of unused wires- - - -backup lights, clearance lights, gas gauge, fuel pump, etc. How about getting a universal trailer wiring kit? It will come with color-coded wires and it can be adapted to whatever lighting system you've got already (if any) or some kits come with the tail lights included.
