I put the basic Goodwrench 350 engine in everything I do. You can,t beat it for the price & reliability. It,s rated at 260 hp. They are peppy & idle smooth. They recently came out with the 290 version. Reading the specks the only difference I see is a little more cam. It might work good with a manual trans. but I would stay with the 260 with an automatic.
