For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 83 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 83 | The hood windlace (seal between hood and cowl) needs replacing on my '41 and I'm considering what to use as a replacement. The original is a fabric strip with a wire inside. The original type is available in parts catalogs, as well as a rubber type that was apparently used on the '46's. I'm not a stickler for sticking with original and want to use what would work best. What have other people found to be the best thing to use? | | |
