Doc...I'm not the only guy out here in California that has had an engine from the 50's cut up to meet the tuff smog standards. I thought I would post in the Q/A format so you fellers with all the knowledge about these trucks could help us out with that knowledge base. In this way we can make informed choices....at the close of the day you are right, it's all up to personal choice....but the more options the better! Thanks, Steve
