The pcv setup will let you loose the driveway oil slick caused by the draft tube. You can replace the draft tube with a plug, plug the end that's in the block, or cut off the side tube and weld in a piece.

The engine will need an air intake to the crakcase. Either leave the open breather cap or add a hose from the valve cover to the air cleaner, most leave the breather cap in.
