Sully started THIS conversation because he had modified his passenger seat frame to tilt forward. Sully was using late model bucket seats, which is probably more comfortable than the original split seat.
I am not sure that this will work in your circumstance because you are using the original frames and seats. If you look at Sully's seat pictures you will notice that he set HIS SEAT back a couple of inches more than the original seat. The way his seat FLIPS FORWARD may allow more room than the original seat does.
Do you have a picture of your final seat location? Do your seats match up when you have the drivers seat in it's correct position? | | |
