This is interesting to me, as I have a choice of a Carter or Rochester for the 261 engine I'm working on for my '59 Apache 3200. (I have 3 Rochesters and 1 Carter, all single bbl.).
I wondered if there was a preference of the two from experienced Stovebolters, and before I even got to the point of asking, I found this thread.
