thanks for the info. not sure i can stop driving the truck long enough at the moment to go through the carb again, but it is at least something i can check out when it is less in demand.
my belief is that it is somewhere in the accelerator pump (power piston) that is limiting the amount of fuel being dispensed.
check, check, and re-check. will let you know what i find!
