| | | | Joined: Apr 2008 Posts: 239 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2008 Posts: 239 | Yesterday I got the 235 engine from the '60 chevy truck that will replace the 235 engine in my '55 chevy truck. There are some differences in the two engines. The '60 has a hydraulic clutch, longer water pump and is 12 volt versus 6 volt. It looks like the bellhousings and the water pumps are interchangeable. I'll convert my '55 to 12 volt. Is there any other issues that I'll need to address? Thanks for your suggestions. | | |
