| | | | Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 3,887 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 3,887 | a better fix would be to pull the inner piece out, so you can actually clean it, and flush the outer sheath with the cable out, then lube it lightly and reassemble .... nothing is stripped, but it could be that the speedo head itself is equally gummed up
