Last winter the radiator on my '50 1/2 ton started leaking. I took it to a local radiation shop that has been in business for a long time and had it re-cored. The core was equal to the original in thickness and number if tubes and I have had no problems with it at all in terms of performance or fit. It cost a little over $300.
