Hy CJB, that 53 car engine may have hydraulic valve lifters and shim adjusted precision bearings, if the car was equipped with a Powerglide transmission. The oiling system on those engines is quite different from the 216 system, however you can mount a bypass filter on the post 53 engines. I don't have the pictures you seek, and I don't have the required "skills" to post them here if I had them, but I'm sure someone will be along with what you need.
