I hope that everyone's had a blessed thanksgiving. Most people seemed to have had a 4 day weekend so I figured that it might have given you the some time to figure out the shimming/grinding situation. I looked at the Stovebolt Engine Co. website and saw that their adapter is made of aluminum instead of the steel version that Buffalo uses. That sounds a like a good idea when luggin around a 35-40 lb plate under the truck at the time of the install. I'm reconsidering from whom to purchase the adapter as a result. Please keeps us posted , and thanks for the info.
