My first car "used a little oil" according to the previous owner, he told me to make sure I put oil in it every time I got gas. So here I go at 16 years old and every time I would fill up the gas tank I would put a quart of oil in. It didn't take long before I was running an engine with way too much oil in it. I didn't know anything about cars at the time so I sold it to a neighbor who promptly drained out the excess oil and drove it for 10 years.
