The Saginaw 4 speed was popular in the early to mid sixties Chevy full sized cars-Impala and such. Good transmissions;bolt right up to the 3 speed bellhousings, same clutch splines, and there's an adapter kit available to hook one up to a Torque-Tube drive. I've also heard rumors of using the overdrive output shaft and tailshaft housing,to give you a 4 speed with overdrive. that'd be the best of both worlds!
