Deluxe Will it "leak" if I don't keep the trim in there, it seems as if I need something in the groove to help keep the rubber tight to the cab.
I used new rubber and didn't put the stainless in, also didn't use any sealer. So far no leaks, and I have driven in some fairly moderate rainfall. You may need some sealer with used rubber, but I would try for the best fit without any.
