The side cover is the standard 1/2 cover that only covers the pushrod/lifter compartment. It does not go all the way up to the valve cover like the 216 does. I need to clarify prvious post. The 50-52 car and truck 235 engine did come with solid lifters, if it had a manual tranny. I wish I could connect my broken rocker arms to an improper head.
