I'm converting my 1950 3100 from the torque tube to an open drive. I have a 1958 rear axle and it looks like the parking brake is fairly different. Has anyone converted this to work with the Bendex brakes? What's involved? Do I need to change out the backing plate? (please say no.)
I have to say I now have 4 rear brake drums and not one is complete, so it's all a guessing game right now. Thanks for the help.
