i have a couple of nice 57 fenders that i plan to use on my 56. they have that flat spot near the grille that the 55.2/56 fenders do not have. i guess i have a couple of choices here:
1) forget about the difference, put on my 56 grille and live with it (how noticeable will this be? i'd like to show the truck from time to time)
2) use a 57 grille (will it fit and conceal this feature of the 57 fenders?)
3) fill/cut out the fender notch and make the 57 fenders look like 56 fenders (is this feasible?)
what are the thoughts of the group?
