I have what my daddy called "cold water leak" where it seemed the water appeared after it got cold... That said you may want to check the "gooseneck" and see if its warped letting some water out...either hot or cold.
I know my V8 is different but the gooseneck did the same thing on it. I could see coolant on top of the intake but it only showed up AFTER parking it and letting it set a few days. Well, I pulled the gooseneck and it was warped. Put on a new gooseneck and the leak went away. Apparently the neck was expanding when hot and would not leak...then do the opposite when cold. So, perhaps your gooseneck is warped and coolant running down and being blown back where you see it????
Just a thought. You just never know!! | | |
