It probably won't have any real U.V. durability. It'll probably fade fast and not stick well. When you say "Marine" paint, was it intended for aluminum boats, wood, or bigger marine stuff near salt water?
If your on a budget, check Van Sickle Farm equipment paint sold at Oscheln's farm supply. If you don't have that chain near you just look up the website and they can help. Ok, I just noticed your in Hawaii, well good luck
