If everyone doesn't already know from reading different sections of the forum , I'm restoring a 65 P30 step van . I understand this isn't a pick-up , but this site is as close as I can come to finding any information on this truck .
Hope you all don't mind my seeking your help with this project .

To the question at hand . This fellow that I've been doing some business with has 4 gallons of water based industrial / marine paint . It was originally purchased to use on equipment . Is it a good or bad idea to use this paint on a vehicle ? The person has a lot of faith in the product , and it is free so its not as if he's trying to sell it to me . What sticks in my mind is all the trouble GM had with water based paints falling off the vehicles .
Any input on the subject ?
