If you are smelling gasoline in the cab,you have a problem.A problem that needs fixing,so a lot of guys move the tank to an under the bed location,while spending mega bucks for a new tank.Chances are that the original problem was nothing more than a loose hose fitting,or something that could have been fixed up very easy.And yeah if you get hit hard enough to rupture that in cab tank you are a gonner anyway.
