My fiberglass does NOT have the lip/indentation you mention and what is on my old bent and twisted original!! You were lucky!
Marty, did you still glue the lip to the "straight" edge of the fiberglass one or just leave it off???
It'll be a few weeeks before I get to mine as other stuff is pressing but I'd like your input on the seal.
