For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! I know my truck don't have any shims; however, the play I am experiencing is front to back as you open the door. It almost feels as if the latch should be set back into the cab about another 3/8" which I know it can move back that far.
Does anyone know if there is a bumper, nylon maybe spring loaded part that fits on the latch itself (Noth the two bumpers on the outside). Something that would hold the stricker once closed? | | |
