same prob. gap round the perimeter is perfect
mine close tight with the new weatherstrip installed but still show PROUD close to 1/4" on the backside.
had my body man look at em an he thinks maybe a bit of bending on the hinges would help ..but he cannot gaurantee super results.
NOW REMEBER these were FARM trucks..for the workin man in the 50's..an he wasnt worried bought fit an finish ...just how MANY bales he could haul or how many full season HOGS he could crate and haul to the sale.
