Thanks for the compliments guys. Yesterday (and most of today) I tried installing the running boards. No Go. On the drivers side the mounts are so skewed that only the center bolt holes line up. This truck in its former life I think ran over a big boulder and screwed up the mounts. The original board had a big hump in it when I took it off. Its too late at this point to grind off the rivets that hold the mounts on and reposition them. I guess I could wiz wheel the mounts in half, bolt the half with the holes in it to the board and weld that half back onto the bracket wherever it falls. It might be easier to grind off the brackets on the underside of the boards and reweld them in position so the bolt holes line up but that would mean repainting the boards. Any ideas out there?
