Harbor Freight Ball Joint Removal Kit I bought this at a 1/2 price sale and it is quite useful. I think you'd have to make an adapter to work with the spring bushings (if someone has successfully used it with a spring bushing, let us know).
Here is the $5 bushing removal tool described in the thread at the link I gave above. The tool is a stouter version of the
DYI Bushing Puller Tech Tip. Taking out the old bushings was a piece of cake.
Unfortunately, this tool has no warranty.
