Thanks for all the input. I'll check into these when time permits.
Darian...the engine I can't say has actually fired, but the turning is fairly even until it "hits" that place and will slow up the cranking but not stop it completely.
I'm going to get the manual out and adjust the valve as specified. Can you do this on a cold engine?
