Beaver 53 Shop Shark B Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 483 Azle Texas	I never noticed any vapors coming from my valve stems when I ran my 216, it had a head job though.It could be that your valve guides are sloppy,even with that said the engine should run.Perform engine tune up, points gap set, timing set, good plug wires, proper spark from coil, gas, zoom-zoom-zoom-engine has to run.
