this is the type my local guy used .... interestingly, he put the rubber on the pinch weld first, cutting it quite tight then, using the suction cups, jammed the glass into one corner and with the acrylic inserter tool just worked around both directions to get it in, worked well, with plenty of cleaner/lube .... and I suspect the lack of lube causes most amateurs problems
