2600 is about right at 65 mph. Its just the right rpm, has plenty more for passing and enough torque to hold steady speed.
I wouldn't go any lower then a 3.08, I can't imagine how doggy that 2.41 is. Mine is bad enough with a 3.08 compared to the 3.42!!!
