The problem is that nobody is buying anything. I see vehicles on craigslist for a fair price and the ads run for months if the seller is patient. If they are unemployed and the baby is hungry, times are tough and sometimes the scrap yard seems like the only option. I don't like it either, but unfortunately I don't have the cash or space to save anything else.
Maybe the wrong to comment, but to me nearly everything I see in CL is over priced.
What I see happing is that it's advertised for say $1k and nobody buys, you see the adv for a couple of weeks and then it's of to the crusher and they guy gets $150..
Whats wrong here isn't it better to just drop the price and get it sold even if it might sell for just $200 and as a plus it gets saved or at least put to used as parts.
