Jeff is correct. Stock wheel is a 15", 8 lug, 2 piece rim. (I want to say it's 7" wide, too, but I can't remember off the top of my head.)
Many wheels from later on in the 50s (1 piece rims) will work just fine, though, if you don't want to mess with the lock rings.
