| | | | Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 42 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 42 | After being unsucessful locating new axles to solve a seal and bearing problem, I decided to replace the rear end with something newer. The original diff pinion was offset about 1 inch. Is there a reason for this? I am about to narrow a new rear end and have new axles made. The trans output shaft is centered in the frame. Do I center the new pinion or match the old one? | | |
