The 350 will bolt right in to replace the 283. I,m getting ready to do it on a 58. The best way to mount the power steering gear is to get the kit that most aftermarket supplies sell. You can mount it but it doesn,t fit right & you have to stack washers between the gear & frame. I don,t remember what pitman arm you use but the direction sheet with the adapter tells. Your column should bolt up & you might have to bend the tubes on the hoses.
