katz - you should start at the beginning and look at every page of the assembly manual, suprising the stuff you can learn about the truck in there .... the bed assy, as indicated in the Index, is in section 1 "Platform and Pickup", the box instructions start with sheet 129.00 - note that each page references 'detail views', those are on later sheets
