the 1-1/4 ton truck's started with the 60-66 GM body style . . .
mostly GI units, township city village county state ect maybe a Mil-spec units even . . .
the "man" didn't have to conform to weight restrictions wanted the larger truck in the smaller package, aka More pay load less money
