| | | | Joined: Apr 2009 Posts: 554 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2009 Posts: 554 | I am trying to rebuild my 52 3100 steering box using a kit from one of the suppliers. Any suggestions on how to remove and replace the bearing races without the special tool would be very welcome. Same for installing the sector shaft outside bushing. I have no press, no old sector shaft to use as a tool, and I think trying to pound it in with a socket etc,. would damage it.
Unless someone has some clever ideas I probably need to go to someone with the right tools.
