I've seen 1-1/4 ton GMC's but don't know that I've ever actually seen 1-1/4 Chevy (correction!). Since lostmy's truck is called a '50 3800 I'm pretty sure it is a Chevy 1-ton.
In this kind of discussion you do well to remember the distinctions between Chevy and GMC because they do confuse people and there are differences in the way the trucks are built.
The largest trucks Chevy made during the AD era was the 2-ton 5000 (COE) and 6000 (2-ton series) trucks.
GMC made larger trucks and they have different fender, grill and hood configurations. Basically the 450 series and up trucks are all bigger.
What is the model designation for a 1-1/4 ton AD Chevy?
