on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 215 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 215 | Hi, a newbie to this forum here! I just got a '46 pickup and am trying to figure out the engine etc. and hopefully you guys can help out here. The engine in the truck isn't the original, I'm fairly sure of that, but anywhere on-line I can't find the serial number decode for the number stamped on the pad its: I0I 3600-E 54U B is this a '54 235 ? only casting number I can find is on the head 3836850 Also the data plate on the cab is 9AK12-4514 which I don't have a clue if its correct as to the truck or not, I'm somewhat sure its been put together from parts as the cab appears to be '41? Going by the rear window design. But the title says '46 and shows an engine serial number DBA101861 on the title.Which is clearly not correct. Any help would be much appreciated. | | |
