The inline engine doesn't respond to the X-pipe or crossover pipe like the V8's do, so just go with two small dual pipes.
I would stick with 2" or less and for a lot of noisy, mount the mufflers forward with extra long tail pipes.
Just remember you are only running 125 cubic inches through each side, so you just don't need a lot of pipe.
