The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Engine Shop Exhaust fabrication

I am putting a Offenhauser and a set of Langdons cast iron headers on my 250 in my '66 C10. That means it will need a new exhaust fabricated up. I'm thinking I will do it myself, but I've never done that before. Anything that I need to take into account that might not be obvious?

I have heard that you get a better sound out of the 6's if you don't have a crossover pipe between the headers. Also, I seem to recall that you want the pipes as close to equal length as possible.

I'm thinking I'll be going with a couple of glasspacks.....
